For all of you, who (like me) love their Mac, but still work with Outlook in Parallels, here comes the solution:
Microsoft will bring Outlook to the Mac in October :-)
Here is a nice little video, with a short overview of the main new features:

For all of you, who are not allready addicted to THE gadget, have a look at this great spot:

Maximize windows on your Mac like in Windows
For all of you, who also shifted from Windows to Mac, you might have run into the same problem:
The behaviour of the green window button seems to be like a lottery. Sometimes, the windows are maximized and sometimes they end up in a different size.
I found a freeware tool on:
http://www.blazingtools.com/downloads.html#rightZoom
to resolve this issue:
Right Zoom for Mac 1.63 - freeware (language: English)
Just download it, copy the program file into the application folder and double click it to start and configure it. It works :-)
